Targeted Promotion
& Communication
Strategies Based
on Your Unique Needs

Recognizing that no two organizations are alike guides everything I do.

Over the last 40 years, I've worked with and for all kinds of organizations — small businesses, non-profits, and faith-based communities. My first task for every organization is to build an understanding of their challenges, their goals, and their needs.

I've seen firsthand how differently these worlds operate — and how differently they're resourced. A small business owner juggling five roles has different needs than a non-profit stretching a grant, or a church running on volunteer energy. What these worlds do have in common is a heart-felt dedication to their vision and an enthusiasm for going above and beyond for those they serve.

Before I recommend anything, I take the time to actually learn your organization: who you are, who you serve, and what you're trying to accomplish. That means no pre-packaged programs and no off-the-shelf strategies. What works for one client rarely works for the next, because no two organizations are truly alike.

Find your path below, and let's start with a conversation about where you are.

Areas of Focus

Small & Emerging
Business

Applying your talents and skills to your own business can be a daunting task.  Being expected to be an expert marketer  at the same time can seem impossible.  I can streamline your promotional objectives so that  not only are they possible but achievable with your current team.

Non-Profit
Organizations

Keeping up with both the work of your non-profit mission and developing revenue streams can challenge the most dedicated teams.  I can help find ways to broaden your reach and streamline your processes to  maximize your current resources.

Faith-Based
Communities

Deepening and extending the reach of your important message with an ever-rotating group of volunteers can mean that a gap can develop between what you want to share and what you can share,  I can help set up systems and provide guidance  to your existing team to bridge that gap.

feed them for a day.
Teach them to fish,
feed them for life.

Marketing capability that stays with your team

Many marketing consultants take over the creation and execution of your marketing strategy, using a retainer or subscription model. This approach distances the messaging from your organization and, if the relationship fails, you are left to pick up the pieces with no institutional knowledge built-in to carry you through.

My process is built so that your organization will eventually not need me at all.  I measure success by how well I equip you to move forward on your own.

start by understanding your organization and your goals, then identify where your promotional strategy is working and where it isn't. From there, I create practical systems — tools, training, and clear processes — so your team can run your promotional strategy and communication efforts themselves, using proven principles fitted to your specific situation.

Once things are up and running, my role transitions to a trusted resource for your team: helping with new projects, answering questions, and troubleshooting when you need a second set of eyes.

All my services are project-based.  You get processes and systems that add to your capabilities rather than another vendor to manage.

I am invested in partnering with my clients to create success with tailored solutions that fit their budgetary concerns, their physical and human resources, and their internal culture.

The Process

A tailored solution requires a systematic approach to truly understanding your organization,  During the Discovery Phase, I find out as much about your organization as I can through  personal interviews, a comprehensive media review, and on-site evaluations.  From the collected information and market research, To set the course forward, I craft a unique plan for your organization to put you onto a path for growth, with consideration of where you are now and where you want to be in the future.  Once I have set up system and processes and developed a creative kit, I work with the people currently on your team to develop repeatable streamlined processes to put your promotional and outreach programs firmly in your own hands. In the final phase, I work with your organization to see where you may or may not need support and we craft my transition to a resource position.
